Equipment Marketers & Appraisers, L.L.C. specializes in certified appraisals, auction management and bulk acquisitions. The company, headquartered in Cedar Falls, Iowa, was founded by Craig C. Hilpipre. He has 35 years of experience in conducting auctions of construction and industrial equipment. Our expertise encompasses the construction, manufacturing, agricultural and transportation equipment markets. We are one of very few companies with a high level of expertise in both industries. We take pride in our high level of professionalism and integrity. Whether the project consists of 10 machines or 10,000 machines, the quality level is the same.

Appraisals

We provide our appraisal service throughout the entire United States. Our appraisals are accurate and delivered on time. A full time staff thoroughly researches and documents the appraised values. Our appraisals are based upon current market values. This knowledge is a result of our extensive involvement with auctions and appraisals. We are able to focus our attention to these markets due to our complete commitment to the appraisal and auction professions. We have developed a multi-user appraisal software which allows us to effectively handle large projects. Our firm is represented at trade shows and technical seminars. This helps us stay abreast of changes in technology which can affect the machinery and equipment markets. On a daily basis we communicate with fellow appraisers, end users, dealers, manufacturing representatives, buyers & sellers.

Creating an appraisal from a trade magazine or an auction reporting service is not in the best interest of the client. By the time these reports are published the information could be too old or inaccurate. Auction reports do not disclose the complete information. There are many facts which are behind the auction numbers. We know how to find and interpret these facts. Simply, our appraisals are not colorful guesses.

Auction Management

We can offer partial or complete auction services. Upon review of your project, we will prepare a proposal which meets your needs. The auctions are professionally advertised, promoted, and conducted. The delivery of your net proceeds is in a timely manner. Each auction has unique requirements and will be addressed on an individual basis.

Bulk Acquisitions

There are situations when an auction is not viable. We offer an alternative. We can purchase your excess machinery and equipment. Each client’s needs are reviewed on an individual basis.
